Engelberth Updating New London Hospital Campus with 20 mo. Addition/Renovation Program

New London, New Hampshire: Engelberth Construction, Inc. of Colchester, Vermont is currently managing the construction of a $21 million, 20-month building and renovation project for New London Hospital. The 46,000 square foot Medical Office Building addition and 12,500 square feet of renovations will unify and update the 50-year old campus. The hospital is located in the Mount Sunapee/Kearsarge Valley area of New Hampshire.

The project includes a new main entrance for outpatient and inpatient registration and services, while the existing entrance will serve emergency department visits only. Renovated space will include thirteen private inpatient rooms and support space for the Medical Surgical Unit and a chapel, in addition to expanded clinical space for hospital Specialty Services such as oncology and infusion treatment, cardiology, neurology, sleep disorders, pain management and Coumadin Services. The oldest section of the existing Medical Office Building will be demolished, while the remaining portion will be renovated to accommodate Pediatrics, which currently is off site, and administrative spaces relocated from the Hospital building.
