What's happening at Engelberth
Engelberth Takes Home Live United Award
Colchester, VT: The United Way of Chittenden County awarded the "Live United" Award to Engelberth Construction on May 6, 2009 at its Annual Dinner with close to 400 people in attendance. This award is given to the company whose campaign and involvement with United Way initiatives best reinforces the values and spirit of the United Way. Key factors noted were Engelberth's leadership in the "Working Bridges" program, our health initiatives aimed at improving the lives of our employees, our involvement with the volunteer efforts this year, and the increase in our total campaign contributions at a time when the number of employees has dropped and our industry has been heavily impacted by the economy.
A special thanks to Gina Catanzarita, Director of Human Resources for her strong leadership and vision for our programs and involvement. She played a major role in bringing this award home.
