Engelberth Construction Begins Two Projects for the State of Vermont
Colchester, Vermont: Engelberth Construction, Inc. recently began work on two projects for the State of Vermont, Department of Buildings and General Services.
In August Engelberth began the $12 million Forensics Laboratory Addition to the existing Public Safety Building at the Waterbury State Office Complex. The construction consists of a 29,000 sf two-story steel building, which includes a new shared entrance lobby for both the lab and the existing public safety building, and a shelled space over the new entrance for a future 1,080 sf emergency operations center. The project also includes a complete plumbing and HVAC system including solar panels, lab gas, lab waste, a storm water system, chilled beams, radiant heating and snow melt system. The project is scheduled to be finished October, 2010.
On September 21st Engelberth began the Security Addition and Interior Renovations to the Windham District Court in Brattleboro, Vermont. The security addition will modify an existing drive thru area and interior renovations will include multi-phases architectural and mechanical renovations of areas on the 1st and 2nd floors. The $1.5 million project is scheduled for completion by June 1, 2010.
