Starr Farm Nursing Center
Burlington, Vermont
The award winning Starr Farm Nursing Center was originally constructed as a 37,500 sf facility with one hundred beds in fifty three rooms. Since that time, Engelberth Construction has added space for sixty additional beds and a larger dining facility.
The facility was designed and constructed to provide the most efficient and best care for patients. Nurses’ stations are centrally located in each of two wings and form an axis at three converging residential corridors allowing easy and cost efficient supervision.
The project was the winner of the Contemporary Long Term Care Magazine’s Architectural Design Award.
