Plymouth State University Langdon Woods Residence Hall
Plymouth, New Hampshire
Located on the north end of campus, the five story, 114,000 sf Langdon Woods residence houses 347 sophomore, junior and senior students in various configurations of suites and two-person rooms. The residence was one of the first in the Country to receive Gold level LEED Certification.
Site selection, indoor air quality, energy and water efficiency, and select materials and resources helped Plymouth State University achieve its goal of sustainable construction. In return, the University has reduced energy and water consumption by 58 percent with a cost savings of over $230,000.00 annually.
