LEEDing the way in “Green Construction”
Engelberth Construction recognizes the important role that sustainable design and green building practices play in preserving today’s build environment. We encourage the use of energy efficient materials, systems and practices and have utilized them on several LEED Certified projects.
Over a dozen members of our staff are LEED accredited professionals. These professionals are extremely knowledgeable about the endless “green” building products available to help you achieve your desired efficiency and overall value on your next project.
In an effort to reduce our dependence on landfills and to preserve our natural resources, Engelberth Construction, working with the State of Vermont Agency of Natural Resources developed a comprehensive recycling program that is utilized on all of our job sites.
By utilizing a number of agencies throughout New England, we are now able to recycle the majority of construction waste incurred on our projects, and have dramatically reduced the impact of demolition and construction on our environment.
